COLORED PENCIL PORTRAITS<\/h3>

These pieces are created entirely with colored pencil and focus on the details. Because of that, they are very time intensive. I recommend having several photos for me to work from, but one really nice, clear photo that you love.<\/p>\n

A 5″ x 7″ portrait starts at $195. These pieces can be mounted on a cradled wood board with painted edges and varnished for a ready-to-hang portrait. I have several styles that I work in including realistic colored pencil drawings, art nouveau inspired mixed media works and mid-century modern inspired mixed media works. I can include specific colors, flowers, and items of meaning, so be sure to include that in your email.<\/p>\n

Choose your size.<\/strong>
The size of the piece is up to you and your budget. Popular sizes are 5″ x 7″ and 8″ x 10″.<\/p>\n

Choose your finish.<\/strong>
Works can be mounted on a cradled birch board and varnished for a finished piece that doesn\u2019t have to be framed OR works can be left unmounted so that you can use a traditional frame.<\/p>\n

Sign a contract.<\/strong>
Once we have the details figured out, I’ll send you a quote and a contract. 50% of the total\u00a0is due initially to reserve your spot on my work list. Commissions take approximately 4 weeks to complete, depending on my schedule and the size and complexity of your piece.<\/p>\n

Progress you can see.
<\/strong>I take photos and email or text them to you at key points in my process as I work on your piece. That way you can have input as I work.\u00a0When I am finished, I send you a photo of your piece one last time for final approval. If your piece is being mounted, it will then go through my varnish process.<\/p>\n

Pick up.
<\/strong>We’ll arrange a time to meet at my studio at Lowe Mill ARTS & Entertainment for pick up. If you are not local to Huntsville, AL, I’ll carefully pack up your piece and ship it to you.<\/p> <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n
