New Year, New Digs
This year I have decided to focus more on creating and selling art and stop offering classes. I felt I was spreading myself too thin and not doing a very good job at anything. Plus, the classes meant even more time away from my kids. They aren’t teens yet and still kind of like me, so I want to enjoy them while I can.
In order to make my goal possible, I’ve decided to share a studio space at Lowe Mill. So as of January 1st, I am now located just down the hall from my old spot. You’ll find me in studio 2038 with Carol Roden of Mountain Moon Glass. We’re still working on merging everything, but it is coming together nicely. Carol is an amazing fused glass artist, and she loves color as much as I do. Even though are works are totally different, they seem to enhance each other since we use similar colors.
I may still offer colored pencil classes for adults during the day. And I am available for private instruction. If someone wants to host a private painting party and rent the classroom at Lowe Mill, I can still do that too. But I will no longer be offering the regularly scheduled paint-along classes and parties. Thanks to all of you who painted with me over the last 3 years. It was a lot of fun!
